The quiet after closing time
Many self-employed people know the moment at the end of the day. The client has hung up, the last email is sent, and nobody is there to talk it over with. Freedom has a price that rarely appears in the business plan: when you are the company, you have nobody to share it with.
If you would find it easier to say this in English, whether it is your first language or simply the one you work in, the conversations can be held in English. That applies both online and in person in Mørke on Djursland.
What the conversations can make room for
- Thinking aloudDecisions you cannot talk through with a colleague, and doubts that grow when nobody hears them.
- BoundariesWork that lives in the living room, and rest that loses its quality.
- IdentityWhere you end and the business begins, and what is left of you outside it.
You do not need a prepared agenda. Many begin with something practical and move from there, at their own pace.
How it works
The sessions are individual and take place at a fixed weekly time in the evening, with the same psychologist throughout. Online is the main route for people in Holbæk: a video call from home, without the drive and without having to explain why you are away from the workshop or the office. Sessions in person in Mørke are also possible.
Capacity is limited and there is typically a waiting list, so no start date can be promised. Signing up is non-binding and is done on the main site, which is in Danish.

Questions and answers
Can I not simply talk to a friend or my partner?
You can, and that matters. But the people who love you also have their own view, and they often want to reassure you. Here you have a fixed time with a psychologist who has no stake in what you decide, and everything is covered by professional confidentiality.
Will my GP be told?
No. Neither your GP, the municipality, your partner nor your workplace is informed. The sessions are private, no referral is needed, and they are covered by professional confidentiality under the Danish Psychologists Act.
Can my business pay?
Yes. Many clients have the invoice paid by their business or employer, and you are free to pay yourself. For the price, see practical information and price on the main site, which is in Danish.
Do I have to know what to talk about?
No. Many people start with something practical, or with a feeling they cannot yet name. Turning up as you are is enough.
Need help right away? There is a waiting list, so this is not the route in an acute situation. Please contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) or call 112 if it is urgent.
